  At the end of a workshop entitled ” The program of public assets management ” which was held by “Egyptian Organization For Human Rights “(EOHR) on Thursday 27/11/2008 , a number of members of People’s Assembly  , human rights activists and a group of experts and academics who are specialist in   economy  turn down the program of public assets management as it is considered a return to a privatization process but in a guise of social justice , the program - as they describe  -doesn’t help to save the management of public sector assets  , also it doesn’t support the efforts of economic development  .

      At the end of a workshop entitled ” Egypt … Towards a new law for NGOs “which was  held by “Egyptian Organization for Human Rights “(EOHR) on Sunday 23/11/2008 at its office , 150 NGOs in 14 governorates in the north and south of Egypt adopt a new bill for NGOs to replace the current law No.84 /2002 in accordance with the international covenants and principles concerned with human rights especially what related to the right to organization . Participants agreed to submit the bill to the parliament , the Minister of Social Solidarity, as well as President of the Republic .

The Egyptian Organization For Human Rights (EOHR ) and Cairo Institute For Human Rights Studies ( CIHRS ) hold a press conference to declare the expected draft law for NGOs at 11:30 AM on Saturday 15/11/2008 at EOHR’s office among a group of Egyptian Alliance members and human rights activists .
