The Egyptian Organization For Human Rights (EOHR) has received a letter from “Mr. Abdullah Yassin”,  prosecutor of Middle Cairo on Tuesday 4-5-2010, asking “Mr. Hafez Abu Seada”, chairman of EOHR, to attend the session of Sunday 9/5/2010 at 10:00 AM at middle Cairo Prosecution, located  at South Cairo First Instance Court  to hear his testimony in case No. 2428 of 2010 -administrative -Kasr El Nile, which was brought by Mr. Hafez Abu Seada against Nashaat El Kassas, member of the parliament. EOHR will submit documents’ file  to the Public Prosecution to  include it in the case’ file.

It is worth mentioning that the chairman of EOHR  submitted a report No. 7820 on 20-4-2010 to the Attorney General, on the declarations of both Mr. Nashaat El Kassas and Mr. Ahmed Abu Akrab (the parliament members) in the parliament session held on 18-4-2010 during the discussion of joint meeting of both human rights committee and the committee of defence and national security as they  called upon shooting the demonstrators.

EOHR regards those declarations as a great violation to the international conventions on human rights, concerning freedom of opinion and expression and the right to peaceful assembly, also it is a direct violation to the general principles of using force and firearms by the executive authority, and to article No. 172 of the Penal Code concerning the incitement to murder out of law.
