The Egyptian Coalition for Monitoring Elections holds a press conference on Monday

The Egyptian Coalition for Monitoring Elections will hold its fourth press conference on Monday 22nd 2010 at 11:00 AM at EOHR’s office. The conference will include a group of human rights activists and a number of representatives of NGOs.

The Coalition during the conference will discuss 3 reports: the first one  on violations committed against women candidates within Quota system, the second on field monitoring for the electoral process and violations committed against independent and opposition candidates in public constituencies, while the third is on media monitoring in challenges process and the first week of electoral campaigns.

It is worth noting that the Coalition includes 123 organizations distributed in 26 governorates including EOHR and Center for Trade Unions and Worker’s Services , the Egyptian Center for Woman’s Rights and Andalas Center for Tolerance Studies
