Towards an ideal constitution for the Egyptian people

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) holds a meeting for experts entitled “Towards an ideal constitution for the Egyptian people” on April 4, 2012, 12 pm, at Safir Hotel in Dokki, Giza. The meeting will be attended by professors of law and political science, legal experts, parliamentarians, political and human rights activists. Following the meeting, EOHR will announce forming the independent constitutional assembly. As EOHR calls all the Egyptian groups and categories to participate in the independent constitutional assembly.

Mr. Hafez Abu Seada, the head of EOHR, stated that the independent constitutional assembly is aimed at drafting the first constitution after the Egyptian revolution, according to the international standards of human rights, representing all the Egyptian people, including minorities.
