State governance form within the new Egyptian constitution

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) holds an open discussion workshop on “the state governance form”, on September 13, 2012, 10 am. Held at Pyramisa Hotel in Giza, the workshop will be attended by professors of law, parliamentarians, members of the National Constitutional Assembly, public figures, representatives of the Egyptian political parties and civil society organization.

The workshop will handle the status of the executive and legislative powers in the forthcoming constitution. The attendees will be discussing advantages and disadvantages of the newly phrased constitutional articles in this concern.

The attendees will include Dr. Taha Abdel Alim, Expert of Al Ahram Strategic Studies Center, Dr. Hwaida Adly, profess or of political Science, Dr. Mostafa Al Nasharty, vice dean of the Administration Faculty, Misr University for Science and Technology, Dr. Abdel Moniem Al Mashat and Dr. Gamal Zahran professors of political science. The attendees also will include Dr. Gamal Gebril, Head of the form of the state committee in the national constitutional assembly, Mr. Hussein Abdel Raziq, former head of Al Tagamoa Political Party and Dr. Georgette Killeny, former parliamentarian.
