Bill of Rights within the Egyptian Constitution

On Thursday, October 11, 2012, 10 am, the Egyptian Constitutional Front holds an open discussion workshop, entitled “Bill of rights within the Egyptian constitution”,   in Pyramisa Hotel in Giza.

The workshop will be attended by legal experts, media specialists, law professors, judges, human rights and political activists, representatives of political parties, minorities and all the political powers and Egyptian groups.  The Egyptian Constitutional Front will be discussing the articles phrased by the national constitutional assembly in connection with the human rights and freedoms. Within the workshop the front will declare the proposed “Bill of Rights”, recommending being included within the forthcoming constitution.

The participants will include Mr. hafez Abu Seada, the head of EOHR, Dr. Aiman Abdel Wahab, expert in Ahram Center for Strategic Studies, judge Abdollah Kandil, Administrative Prosecution Office, Mr. Esam Shiha, lawyer, Mr. Farid Zahran, head of Mahrousa Foundation, Mr. George Eshak and Dr. Mona Zulfakar, former members of the national Council for Human Rights. The participants also include Mr. Hussein Abdel Raziq, former secretary general of Tagamoa Political Party, Ms. Farida Al Nakash, editor in chief of Al Ahali Newspaper, Dr. Foad Abdel Moniem Riad, professor of international law, Mr. Hamdi Al fakharani, former parliamentarian and Mr. naser Amin, head of the Arab Council for Judiciary Independence.
