Press Conference to Discuss New Book on Constitution

On Monday, December 31, 2012, 12 pm, the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) holds a press conference to discuss a new book entitled “New Democratic Constitution for All the Egyptian People”. The press conference will be located at the headquarters of EOHR, Floor 10, 8/10 Mothaf Al Manial St., Nile Corniche, Near to Fatin Hamama Cinema, Cairo. The press conference will be attended by media specialists, professors of law, parliamentarians, members of the National Constituent Assembly, public figures, representatives of the Egyptian political parties and civil society organization, especially those who have research papers included in the book.

Mr. Hafez Abu Seada, the head of EOHR, will present the main topics of the book, issued in both Arabic and English, to the attendees of the press conference for discussion. He will be also presenting the outlines of the research papers included in the book in addition to listing the outputs of the project that lasted for six months discussing the different parts of the draft constitution giving proposals and recommendations, based on the international standards of human rights, to the National Constituent Assembly. Dr. Diaa Rashwan, the head of Al Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies will be commenting on the book content.
