Al-Khanka Misdemeanors Court postpones the trial of Deputy Officer of Misr Al-Gedida Police Station and four other Officers for the session of December 17.

The Misdemeanors Court of Al-Khanka, held in the Police Academy, has decided to postpone the trial of the deputy officer of Misr Al-Gedida Police Station as well as other 4 officers who are accused in the incident of the death of 37 MB detainees inside a deportations’ vehicle to Abu Za’bal Prison. The court has adjourned the trial to December 17th  session to declare the defendants in civil proceedings, in addition to informing and executing the requests of the defense panel to gather the records of Misr  AL-Gedida Police Station, Abu Za’bal Prision, and Liman Tora Prison. EOHR condemns the death incident of Al- Omranya Child

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights condemns the killing of 11 years old child, Mohamed Badawy, Last Friday, during one of the MB marches in Ter’a Al-Zomor Street in Al- Omranya. EOHR issued its report: “the crime of torture and the continued impunity after the revolution of the thirtieth of June”

On Sunday, corresponding to 10th of November 2013, EOHR issued its report which is entitled: “The crime of torture and the continued impunity after the revolution of the thirtieth of June,” which deals with the monitoring, documentation and reality of the crime of torture in Egypt, as well as typical cases that have been monitored to torture and ill-treatment within the centers, police stations and places of detention, torture resulting to death, and documentation of these cases.
