The Egyptian Organization launches “Know your Constitution” Campaign.

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights will launch a campaign entitled “Know Your Constitution” on Monday 30th December 2013, at 11 AM in Pyramisa Hotel in Dokki, the campaign aims at urging the citizens to participate politically in the upcoming referendum, which is a contribution from the organization in discussing the rights and freedoms which is guaranteed by the new draft constitution to ensure the maintaining of the fundamental rights and freedoms of the citizens in accordance with the Human Rights conventions. The Egyptian Organization demands the urgent arrest of the perpetrators of El-Mansoura terrorist incident.

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights condemns the terrorists incidents that have increased recently, which represents an assault to the Human Rights and freedoms established by the international conventions and agreements, most importantly the right to live, the right of liberty, and security of the person, that last incident happened in El-Mansoura city at the early hours of Tuesday morning December 24th 2013, which resulted in the death of 12 people and the injury of other 150.
