The signed Organizations: the new draft constitution respects human rights, and it is contrary the laws and legislations.

The signed organizations reviewed the new draft constitution, which will be put into a referendum on 14th and 15th January 2014, they studied the articles regarding the Human Rights and the public freedoms of the citizens to evaluate the insurance of those rights. And it was shown that the new draft constitution guarantees the public rights and freedoms of the citizens and also acknowledged the women’s rights in all the fields; political, economic, and social. Anti-Violence observatory condemns the terrorist attacks and the incitement of violence.

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights expresses its strong condemnation of the terrorist operations which targeted the central security sector in Ismalia governorate that resulted in the killing of a soldier and the injury of 18 persons including civilians, and also condemns the calls that encourage the use of violence in the demonstrations. The Egyptian Organization initiates the second workshop on the political participation of the youth.

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, has initiated the second workshop on Wednesday, December 4th, 2013, on the subject of the political participation of the youth in the organization’s headquarter, to educate some of the university students, political parties members, and political forces members about the techniques of the political participation, and to promote the ways of participation of the youth in the Egyptian political life. The new constitution includes a significant package of rights and freedoms required for the legislation development.

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights welcomes the draft of the new constitution, which was approved by the 5o’s committee in Egypt, that establishes the new state based on the principles of separating of powers and the balance of powers between the legislative, executive, and judicial authorities , ensures the public rights and freedoms of the citizens, recognizes the women’s rights in all the fields; political, economic, and social, emphasizes the economic and social rights of the citizens, and emphasizes the idea of transitional justice, and  freedom of the media, creativity, and intellectual property. Juristic persons and activists demand the adoption of specific guarantees to ensure the integrity of the electoral process

Legal experts, university professors, and human rights activists had come to agreement about the need to unite all the relevant laws of the electoral process, adopt measures to control the phenomenon of the political money, achieve precise control over the sources of the campaigns’ financing, and committing the candidates to the decisions which set the finance ceiling through the bank account system or the approved accounting firms by the permanent commission for elections, they’ve reached this conclusion at the end of the conference which entitled “ The Guarantees of the Forthcoming Electoral Process”, which was held yesterday, Sunday December 1st, 2013 in Pyramisa hotel, Dokki. The organization will held the second workshop on the political participation of the youth tomorrow
