On the International Day of solidarity with the Palestinian people, EOHR reafirms its inifinite support for the legitimate rights of the palestinian people

The suffering of the palestinian people under Israeli occupation and oppression persists without any signs of hope to alleviate their plight, on the contrary matters seem to be heading for worse. On the International day of solidarity with the Palestinian people EOHR reafirms its boundless support to the right of the palestinian people to self determination, independence and return to their homeland that was stripped away from them forcefully by means of aggression.

EOHR calls upon the international community, the United Nations and other international and regional organs to implement UN resolutions concerning Palestine, that includes Security Council resolution 242 that obliges Israel to evacuate Palestinian and Arab territories it seized and return to the borders of 1967. EOHR also calls upon the same organs to compel Israel’s government to abide by the Oslo accords, respect the right of the palestinians to self determination, and to cease immediatley the gross human rights violations they commit against them thay range from arbitrary detention, to forced displacement, to murder.

In the same context, Mr. Hafez Abu Seada, president of EOHR demanded that the international community and Israel to abide by international treaties, and resolutions on Palestine. He also condemned the continuation of Israeli occupation of the palestinian territories, and also reaffirmed the support of his organization to the just cause of the palestinians, which happens to be of great importance to the entire Arab world.
