Legal Jurist demanded the Egyptian Organization and Arab Federation to raise an international Lawsuit on behalf of

terrorist operations victims against States sponsors of terrorism

The participants; Law Professors, Constitutional Jurists and lawyers agreed on the need to raise an international lawsuit to compensate the victims of terrorist operations from the forces that support these terrorist operations and provide them with financial and logistical support. A legal committee of experts will be formed by the Egyptian Organization and the Arab Federation for Human Rights to adopt raising an international lawsuit against the states which sponsor terrorist operations in Egypt. This statement was the final statement of the Regional Conference held by the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) and the Arab Federation for Human Rights on Wednesday, 26 July 2017. The Egyptian government ignored civil society requests and appeals to review the law and ammend it, and that leaves Egypt with a civil society law that is incompatible with international human rights treaties and conventions. EOHR condemns the Church bombings in Tanta and Alexandria

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) strongly condemns the bombings that targeted two churches in Egypt’s nile delta. The bombings coicided with Palm Sunday which is celebrated by millions of Christians all over Egypt. The first bombing targeted St. George church in Tanta, the bomb killed over 30 people and injured more than 50. The second bombing targeted St. Mark Church in Alexandria where Coptic Patriarch Tawadros was leading prayer. The Suicide bomber detonated himself at the Church gates when he was detected by policemen securing the church.
